I never used to share with people. This is not to say that I was a selfish child--I shared my things, my toys, my material possessions. But never my thoughts. Perhaps this grew out of habit, as a self-defense mechanism from when I was younger...my parents would yell at me for hours and I would remain completely silent.
As I transitioned from high school to college, I realized I had no idea who I was. I had millions of thoughts, opinions, and convictions jumbled up in my head, but since I never let them out, I had absolutely no idea what was 'up there' anymore.Discovering who we really are is a tedious, never-ending, but satisfying journey.
I'm excited to continue this process, and hope to share my passions, my love, and myself with others.

Tid Bits:
I prefer winter to summer because I like the snow and to ski, but most of all...I like coats. Whereas stereotypically most girls have a large collection of shoes or purses...half of my closet is devoted to coats and jackets. My livestrong bracelet never leaves my left wrist, and neither does my Swiss Army watch. My toes are always painted some shade of pink. I asked for a puppy every birthday and Christmas from first grade to fifth grade, until we welcomed our beautiful sheltie into our home. And I'm a bit scared of cats--they hiss. I can only sing when alone in the shower or the car.
Chapstick is always found in my purse. When I'm angry, I don't talk. And unless you know me quite well and know what to say, you don't talk to me either. And you definately, positively do not tell me to "chill." Ice cream is my best friend. And I do love Skyline (not Goldstar)--a 3-way and a Cheese Coney...always. I love vanilla, cinnamon...and the smell of sesame oil can I can eat fruit and veggies whenever and wherever. Favorites include blueberries, strawberries, carrots, ripe southern peaches, and asian pears. I like clam chowder with no clams. I'm not big on seafood. Which is why I'll be a cheap date.
I'm awful with directions, and I can spend hours in the school supply aisle. As a kid, I could be found in the coffee aisle in the grocery store, eyes closed, bearthing in the wonderful aroma. I like dancing in the rain and watching movies on my bed. I'm terrified of scary movies--I jumped a foot high when the hun popped out of the roof in Mulan. Orange is my favorite color, next up are purple and black. I go to sleep with pants on, and wake up with only my underwear. I like the smell of tennis balls and the sound of rain. I recently got over my addiction to playing Euchre online. I brush my teeth and floss twice a day because icky teeth are nasty. I love zoos, trampolines, lying in the grass, and Disney movies.
